5 Ingredient Berry and Chocolate Smoothie that Tastes Delicious
When I’m not traveling, I usually start my day with this decadent berry and chocolate smoothie. It’s super fast, nutritious and keeps me full until lunchtime. Since I’m not consuming dairy, I use collagen peptides as the protein source and can get a lot of fiber by adding chia seeds. And best of all, it tastes like a big chocolate thick shake (truly!) but with hidden spinach inside. Here are some more smoothie recipes that you might enjoy, too.
Using the Nutribullet to Blend the Berry and Chocolate Smoothie
I use the Nutribullet NBR 1201 to blend and transport my smoothie. I throw everything into the tall cup, mix, and then put the lid on and take it to work. And because it has chia seeds and ice, it stays nice and thick for a long time.
So here’s my recipe. Just blend everything together. You can always substitute your own protein powder for collagen peptides and use nut/seed milks instead of water. The macros for this recipe are: 10.4 g fat, 3.9 g total sugar, 15.5 g fiber, and 27.3 g of protein. So it certainly packs a lot of punch nutritionally.
